Gummies and Edibles With the Dose Printed on Every Pack

The Easiest Way to Know Your Dose

Edibles are the lane we point most first-time customers toward. A gummy has the milligrams printed per piece, you can cut one in half, and there is no smoke and no device to figure out. For a lot of people that makes edibles the simplest way to try a hemp THC product.

At Smokey Paradise, the edibles shelf sits near the front counter at both shops. It runs from low-dose gummies made for beginners to stronger blends for customers who already know how they react. If you are not sure where you land, tell us what you have tried before and we will point you to the right end of the shelf.

Every edible we carry lists its dose per serving on the label and comes with a certificate of analysis. Ask at the counter and we will show you the lab report before you buy.

What Is on the Edibles Shelf

Brands and flavors rotate as they sell through. The formats stay the same, so you know what to ask for.

Gummies

The most popular edible by far. The dose is printed per piece, packs come in several sizes, and there are more flavors than we can list.

Chocolates

Bars scored into pieces so each square is one serving. Check the label for how many milligrams are in each square.

Blends

Many edibles mix two or more hemp cannabinoids. The label lists every one, and we will explain the blend in plain words.

Tinctures and More

Drops, mints and other formats come and go. Ask what is new; the staff always know what just came in.

Start Low, Go Slow

The most useful thing we can tell anyone about edibles is to start small and wait. Edibles take longer to come on than smoking or vaping, often an hour or more, and the timing varies from person to person. The most common mistake we hear about is taking a second gummy too early because the first one did not seem to work.

Try half a piece the first time, give it plenty of time, and use it at home rather than before you need to drive or work. You can always take more later. You cannot take less.

Questions to Ask Before You Buy

A minute at the counter saves a bad night. These are the questions worth asking about any edible.

01

How Much Is in One Piece?

The label should give a number per gummy or per square. If you cannot find it, ask us to point it out.

02

What Is in the Blend?

Knowing every cannabinoid in the pack helps you compare it to what you have used before.

03

Is There a Lab Report?

Every edible we carry has one. Ask to see it, and check that the batch number matches the pack.

04

What Do You Suggest for Me?

Tell us honestly what you usually use and how much. We would rather sell you something milder than have you overdo it.

Reading the Label and the Lab Report

A good edible label tells you the dose per serving, the number of servings in the pack, which cannabinoids are in it, the batch number and a way to find the lab report, usually a QR code. If an edible does not tell you how much is in it, we do not carry it.

On the lab report, look for the cannabinoid panel, which lists each compound and how much the batch tested at, and the Delta 9 THC line, which for hemp products should fall within the legal limit. Our staff are happy to go through it with you line by line.

Storing Edibles Safely

Gummies and chocolates look like candy, and that is exactly why they need to be stored like medicine. Keep them in their original labeled pack, on a high shelf or in a locked box, away from children, pets and guests who might not know what they are.

Heat is the other problem. A pack left in a car on a Texas afternoon will melt into one block, and chocolate turns soft and dull. Somewhere cool and dry indoors keeps edibles in good shape for months.

A Few Honest Notes

Hemp THC edibles can cause a positive result on a drug test. Do not drive after taking one. If you take medication or have a health condition, talk to your doctor first; we sell hemp products, we do not give medical advice.

If you want the same idea in a can, take a look at our THC drinks. If you want something with no high at all, the CBD shelf has gummies too.

Edibles Near You

Both Smokey Paradise shops carry edibles. The Arlington shop on East Bardin Road is open every day from 8 AM to midnight, a minute off I-20 at Collins Street, and an easy drive from Pantego, Dalworthington Gardens and Mansfield. The Farmers Branch shop on Josey Lane serves Carrollton, Addison and northwest Dallas.

Ask at the counter whether any edible specials are running. Deals change week to week, and the deals page lists the current ones when we have them.
