Smokey Paradise, the closest smoke shop for Grand Prairie

Smoke Shop Near Grand Prairie, Fifteen Minutes by the Turnpike

Smokey Paradise for Grand Prairie

Grand Prairie stretches a long way north to south, and for the central and southern parts of the city, the closest full range smoke shop that stays open until midnight is just across the line in Arlington. Smokey Paradise at 1101 E Bardin Rd Ste 121 is about fifteen minutes from Grand Prairie City Hall, mostly on the President George Bush Turnpike and I-20.

Inside you will find THCA, THCP, Delta 8 and CBD on the hemp side, and vapes, cigars, glass, hookah and kratom on the smoke shop side. Our Google reviewers mention the prices and the deals more than anything, which is a good reason to make the short trip.

Turnpike or Interstate

Google's fastest route from Grand Prairie City Hall on Main Street takes State Highway 161 south onto the President George Bush Turnpike, then I-20 west to exit 451 for Collins Street. That is about ten miles and fifteen minutes. The turnpike is a toll road, so if you would rather skip the toll, I-20 west from the Grand Prairie side of Highway 360 gets you to the same exit with a few extra minutes of driving.

Customers in south Grand Prairie, around Joe Pool Lake and the neighborhoods near I-20, often have an even shorter drive, since they can join I-20 west almost from their front door.

From North Grand Prairie and the Great Southwest

North Grand Prairie, up around I-30 and the Great Southwest industrial area, is a longer trip than the city center. The simplest route from there is Highway 360 south to I-20 east, then one short stretch to the Collins Street exit. It avoids the toll road entirely and keeps you on highways the whole way.

From south Grand Prairie, around the lake and the neighborhoods near Camp Wisdom Road, getting onto I-20 west is quick, and the Collins Street exit is only a few minutes past Highway 360.

Grand Prairie Customers and Our Late Hours

Grand Prairie commuters often pass the Collins Street exit twice a day on I-20. We are open from 8 AM to midnight, so a stop fits either end of the commute. The shop is in a strip center with parking right in front, which makes it a fast in-and-out compared to stores tucked into bigger shopping centers.

Toll Tags and the Turnpike

The President George Bush Turnpike is the fastest way from central Grand Prairie, but it is a toll road. If you have a toll tag, it is the easy choice. If you do not, you will be billed by mail, which costs more, so many customers simply take I-20 west from Highway 360 instead. The difference is a few minutes. Either way, the last stretch is the same: exit 451, Collins Street, Westpointe Way.

When to Go

Weekday mid-mornings and early afternoons are the quietest at the shop and on I-20. Evenings after events at the Arlington stadiums can slow traffic around Collins Street north of I-20, but you will be exiting south of the interchange, away from most of it.

Hours are 8 AM to 12 AM every day of the week.
